Maine, again

Apparently I have Maine on the mind...

As soon as it starts to get warm, no matter what corner of the world I happen to be living in, my mind begins anticipating my yearly trip to Maine.

Beets, bigger

I am playing with making the photos here bigger and found this old photo of Will, eating ground up beets. It is amazing what you can get them to eat before they are 2 1/2 and know better...

Band-aid

I leave the room for 2 minutes and come back to see that Will has undressed Skylar (note to self: boy now knows how to un-zip things) and taken possession of that band-aid he was eying at the doctors.

They were cutting Eucalyptus trees on the road up to our house this week and Drew ran out all Jack Bauer-style and hauled back a few truck loads for firewood. I love the promise of stacked wood.

When I was in Miami, I did a 20 minute shoot with my lovely sister-in-law who so graciously brought my children's first cousin -little Brody- into the world this week! Thank you and so many, many congratulations!

I bet this belly already seems like a world away...

Lauren and Mark are married, people!!!

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. YES, I wish you could have been there too! It was truly, truly a magical wedding. I'll post more pictures in a bit, but here are some teasers. I was actually having such a great time being a guest -finally- (always a photographer, never a wedding guest) that I didn't take many photos!

Between all the hugs, tear wiping, h' orderve holding and mojito sipping, the 5 lb. camera didn't see a lot of action... which is probably for the best so this mama could get her dance on.
