I actually slept great last night! (Thanks to Miss Skylar, as pictured below:)
Also- bear with me while I choose a photo for the "header" of the blog. Right now I am digging this picture of Will chewing on my lens cap... What do you think? Feel free to comment below. :)
I keep coming back to these images of Little Brody sleeping. I think it's jealousy. I wish I could curl up anywhere and fall asleep and everyone would gather-round in hushed voices and say: "Oh, look how sweet that mom looks passed out on the floor... Let's tiptoe away and let her sleep uninterrupted for the next 15 hours."
Drew's sisters and mom came into town this week and we got to meet little Brody! He is the newest addition to the clan, and SUCH a sweet pea. We are all smitten, especially his cousins Will and Skylar.
Here are two versions of him:
I love this one- It was about 100 degrees out and we were chilling in the shade. He just need a can of Bud to complete the look.
My new favorite location is Little Farm in Berkeley. I've been there a bunch with my own little farm animal (Will), but this was the first time I've done a shoot there. It is such a lovely little hide-away with so many pretty spots.
I have a ton to go through, but here are two I especially like- I have photographed these two wonderful ladies twice before, and love the coziness between them. The little girl was winding down and rubbing her mom's ear for soothing, just as she did as a baby...
For the past several days, our son has turned from Will into Christopher Robin. Here is he doing his imitation of CR running: shoulders hunched-up, arms bent, ready for any adventure...
(Yes, I've been bequeathed the title of Pooh, if you were wondering. I'm pretty happy with that one- at least I'm not Rabbit- I've always thought she was SUCH a drag...)
Last week I headed over to Pacifica to photograph this really sweet family. We were all set to do the "beach thing" but it was so windy that we headed over to San Pedro Valley County Park. Besides being the only people there -it was beautiful. I love the combination of spring wild flowers, old oaks, and hills of wheat...
